To achieve agreed sales revenue targets by developing and maintaining an effective professional liaison with trade, incentive houses, associations and the various stakeholders in these segments. Help to position Dubai as a global MICE destination and work with the various stakeholders to increase 3rd/4th freedom traffic flows in these segments.
- Maintain and develop relationships with specified DMC, trade partners and associations to develop and maximize all revenue opportunities which includes existing revenue and new revenue potential.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the various Travel Association stakeholders such as Thai Travel Agent Association, International Travel Association (ITA), and Tourism Offices to position Emirates as a leading association carrier with a global reach.
- Work closely with the Global Sales Team, the channel, Country Manager and Sales Managers to manage strategic accounts and ensure that business opportunities are shared across territories with the respective colleagues
- Maintain a minimum average weekly call rate to existing and new customer base based on revenue portfolio and account needs as agreed with the Sales manager. Update the weekly sales plan in salesforce.com and report outcomes/actions of the sales calls in the system
- Develop and implement the agreed spaneting and sales plans with all Key Accounts within the segment.
- Create action plans to present to the Sales Manager based on spanet needs and feedback, competitor’s activities and subsequently assist in designing and developing the sales and spaneting strategies for the territory to ensure growth in revenue and spanet share for Emirates.
- Implement and monitor sales strategies in the territory to ensure that the travel trade and traveling public in general are made aware of the existence, variety, competitive prices, and quality of Emirates products available.
- Co-ordinate the distribution of quality spaneting and promotional collateral and material.
- Act as an Emirates ambassador within in the assigned sales territory and represent Emirates during functions
- To achieve, organise, control, and monitor passenger sales targets and spaneting goals of the company in the outstation.
QualificationQualifications & Experience:
Experience in all aspects of the airline/travel trade sales environment
Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively at all levels
Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel and Power Point
Fluent spoken and written English.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant, outgoing personality.
Must have the right to live and work in Thailand.
