Chief Pilot

Job Description:

Lead and mentor our pilot team
Ensure all operations align with FAA Part 135 regulations and standard operating procedures
Oversee pilot training, proficiency, and standardization
Maintain pilot records and serve as the primary FAA liaison
Work closely with the Director of Operations (DO) to support safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations
Leverage the unique skills and experiences of line pilots beyond the cockpit to strengthen company culture and overall performance
Fly scheduled and on-demand missions in our well-appointed, carefully maintained turboprop fleet

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of FAA Part 135 piloting experience
3,000+ hours total flight time
500+ hours in turboprop aircraft
PIC experience in PC-12 and King Air strongly preferred
Significant flight instruction or training experience in high-performance turbine aircraft
Proven experience in managing direct reports
Calm, confident decision-making in rapidly changing situations involving customers and equipment
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities
Strong dedication to safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance
