Job Description

This role involves performing complex tasks to prepare metal and other surfaces on aircraft and equipment for painting. The Painter applies lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy using spray guns, brushes, and rollers. Additionally, the Painter will provide support by painting ground support equipment. Adhering to instructions and safety information is crucial for the proper and safe completion of assignments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal and other surfaces on aircraft and equipment for painting.
• Apply lacquers, primers, synthetic enamels, polyurethane, and epoxy using spray guns, brushes, and rollers.
• Support painting of ground support equipment.
• Read and comply with instructions and safety information to ensure proper and safe completion of tasks.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of aerospace painting experience.

Work Environment

The work environment includes 3rd shift hours from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM and 2nd shift hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Employees will work with spray guns, adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
