Tasks

Managing and prioritizing the product backlog
Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing backlog items (user stories) to ensure that the most valuable features are developed first.
Development and communication of a clear vision for the end product, as well as the definition of product goals
Close collaboration with customers/BU, users, and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide feedback
Serving as liaison between BU and development
Close coordination with the development team to explain requirements, define acceptance criteria, and participate in capacity planning
Eliminates blockers to enable on time development

Requirements

Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in data/analytics environments
Experience working with Data Warehousing solutions and data platforms
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and working with cross-functional teams
Experience in managing and prioritizing product backlogs in tools like Jira or Trackspace
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines)
Familiarity with SQL (preferably Teradata SQL) and ETL processes/streams
Hands-on or good conceptual knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake)
Experience or exposure to Databricks is a strong advantage
