Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for the Advanced Programs team. Our team is responsible for improving the producibility of early designs and creating manufacturing plans and processes to support the evolving demands of the Warfighter.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective production. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues, and implement improvements to manufacturing processes.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing manufacturing processes and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production issues
- Implementing improvements to manufacturing processes
- Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
- Providing technical support to production teams
- Providing manufacturing feedback on new product designs

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline
• Experience working in an Electrical or Mechanical manufacturing environment
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Experience with manufacturing, assembly, and production processes
• Experience creating and reviewing work instructions
Desired Skills:
• Active Secret clearance
• CREO Design Experience or other CAD programs (CATIA, Solidworks, AutoCad, Fusion,etc.)
• Experience with Windchill
• Professional experience structuring and creating MBOMs in SAP
• Proven experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
