Job Description:
A job opportunity as Supply Officer for Procurement has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Madrid (Spain).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will join the Supply Chain team. In your role Supply Officer, you will:
Manage contract execution, being responsible for supplier On Quality On Time (On Cost when applicable) performance.
Perform an effective control of supplier activities, securing a close understanding of supplier overall situation and scope.
Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions.
Coordinate with Supply Chain & Quality Management team the implementation of recovery, improvement and development plan in order to secure delivery of the products and services in conformity with contract
Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services.
Act as the main interface with internal customer and manage missing parts and priorities to ensure Customers Operations.
Provide consolidated forecast to suppliers and ensure that suppliers will have the required capacity.
Identify the supplier industrial risks and propose mitigation actions.
SKILLS:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Education: Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience: 1–4 years of professional experience in a related role.
Previous experience in Supply Chain operations will be considered
Previous experience in Space program and Quality management will be considered
Experience of working in a matrix environment with proven record of successful stakeholder management
Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
Negotiation level of English and Spanish
Nice to have: Knowledge of SAP, EMS & SMIS would be an asset. Master in Big Data, IA knowledge, Google Workspace
