Job Summary
This is a remote position that can be performed anywhere in the US. The position will require approximately 50 travel.
Job Responsibilities
- Identification, and evaluation of the business development opportunities and responsible for the generation of sales growth and profit enhancement necessary, over the short, medium, and long term, to meet or exceed their associated Bookings Forecast and Plan.
- Plan and recommend sales and spaneting strategies to achieve maximum penetration consistent with Companys financial objectives; and to drive the Companys tactical and strategic growth
- Promote and foster continued business development opportunities with existing customers
- Expand and grow business base by developing new customer relationships
- Visit and prospective, new, and existing customers on a regular basis
- Along with business leaders, establish goals to ensure achievement of spanet-share objective and profitability of products and services
- Overall responsibility for the Capture Planning Process and the Bid and Proposal process and budget
- Overall responsibility for the accuracy and achievement of the Companys Bookings Forecast and Plan
- Formulate and exercise spaneting plans and programs, both short and long range to ensure achievement of financial objectives, and products and services innovation
- Manage and analyze the spanet intelligence data to ensure spanet opportunities are capitalized on as they occur and minimize the effects of competitive activity
- Prepare customer and strategic presentations
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Attend business meetings as requested
- Attend trade shows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in spaneting or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Knowledgeable in spaneting and experience developing a competitive spaneting strategy
- Knowledgeable in US Contracting, ITAR, FAR, and budgeting processes
- Demonstrated successful executive presentation skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Expert knowledge of Company products, spanets, and technology
Preferred Experience
- Navy or Air Force Veteran
- Defense background with either radar or adjacent technology knowledge
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
The salary range for this position is $183,766/year - $285,269/year. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable spanet conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
