Regional Product Owner NA&LATAM

If so, Smart4Aviation is looking for a motivated and experienced Product Owner to join our diverse and vibrant team. You will play a crucial role in the continued development and expansion of our S4A Smart LOAD product.

Responsibilities

Own the product vision and development lifecycle
Co-define product strategy and roadmap, and maintain relevant documentation
Define and communicate the product vision in collaboration with Product Analysts and Development Teams
Gather, define, and prioritize product and customer requirements
Lead product team meetings to align internal stakeholders on direction, customer needs, and open issues
Prioritize product features based on business value and customer feedback
Ensure the overall quality and consistency of the product
Manage the product budget
Conduct product demos and presentations for customers

Job Requirements:

Living in North America or willing to relocate
Proven experience in product ownership or product management
Strong expertise in the airline industry, particularly in Load Control (Weight & Balance), in both agent and management roles – mandatory
Solid knowledge of airworthiness, operational considerations, and certification processes for aviation-related web and mobile applications
Experience in specifying business requirements for W&B IT solutions
Hands-on experience with AHM configuration in W&B systems
Experience in delivering W&B training for airline personnel
Preferred: experience in Performance Engineering
Proven track record of building W&B products for airlines from the ground up
Deep understanding of IT product lifecycle and agile methodologies
Goal-oriented with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
Ability to articulate and drive product strategy and solutions
Experience in project development and business process consulting
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated success in launching impactful products
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and delegate effectively
Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
Strategic thinking with an analytical and innovative mindset
Leadership skills and a collaborative spirit
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Willingness to travel, as required
