To support these strategies, we are looking to fill a Specialist position of Application Development and Maintenance – Corporate Services who will play the role of a Business Analyst within our team. This position will report to the Manager, Application Development and Maintenance – Corporate Services.
Responsibilities:Accountable for supporting PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 application which consists of the following modules: Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Payroll for North America, Payroll Interface.Responsible to gather, document, and validate customer’s requirements.Identify, analyze, and recommend business solutions.Act as main point of contact with the offshore development team.Responsible for preparing test scenarios and test cases.Will Perform functional/UAT testing.
QualificationsA relevant University degree/technical certification, and/or relevant experience commensurate to the role.Minimum of 5 years of experience with different HRIS systems, and hands on experience with PeopleSoft an advantage.Knowledge and hands on experience with PeopleSoft fluid an asset.Knowledge and hands on experience of SQL queries, an asset.Experience and knowledge on the HR and payroll modules of the HRIS systems you have worked with, would be an asset.Exceptional analytical, organizational, communication and plannings skills.Self-motivated, investigative nature and independent worker.Results oriented with proactive and methodical approach to problem solving.Able to multi-task and work under pressure against tight deadlines and changing priorities.Must be a team player with ability to work closely with diverse groups and working styles.Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, when required.Ability to provide clear direction and effective.Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships.Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
