Purpose of the position
The Passenger Services Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and controlling the daily passenger services operations and involved staff in various areas of our hub at Brussels Airport and will give the staff technical guidance and assure the application of company standards. The Passenger Services Supervisor is the escalation level for the passenger Services Agents/Officers when dealing with operational issues.
Main tasks & responsibilities
- Guide and support Passenger Services staff in a way that they can efficiently complete their tasks, within established company standards and in timely manner.
- Debriefing of the daily operations to the line management in order to have tracking records and to improve processes.
- Coaching and development of staff through regular debriefings, appraisals and performance reviews.
- Liaise and work together with other departments within Ground Operations and Brussels Airlines to ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
Your profile
- Minimum higher education diploma
- 2 years of experience as Passenger Services Officer or equivalent through experience
- Profound knowledge of Altea
- Profound knowledge of check-in and boarding procedures
- Fluency in English/French/Dutch
- People management skills
- Customer oriented
- Stress resistant
- Flexible to work in a variable roster, also on weekends and public holidays
- Assertive
- Organization skills
- Good motivating & communication skills
