In our commercial modifications team, we are proud to operate under our EASA Part21J Design Organization Approval; with a clear mission: to become the number one customer choice for aircraft retrofit solutions in the commercial aviation spanet. Our international team, with strong presences in Munich and Hamburg, specializes in interior retrofit projects, ranging from halon fire extinguisher replacements to full cabin tube strips.
As we expand our operations in Germany, we are excited to grow our Seat Integration Team, focusing on unique seat certification and integration for all Boeing aircraft models. In this role you will:
Lead and inspire a high-skilled, agile engineering team specializing in structural development and certification activities, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and technical excellence
Champion a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within a matrixed organization, ensuring all projects and deliverables meet stringent timelines, budgets and highest safety and quality standards
Drive engineering functional excellence by optimizing people, processes, tools, and best practices; implement productivity enhancements and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects and process improvements, while actively developing your team’s skills, careers, and talents through targeted coaching and mentorship
Serve as a key Boeing representative in customer engagements and on-site support during the embodiment phase of projects, building and maintaining strong, sustainable relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners
Provide authoritative oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with Boeing’s strategic objectives

What You Bring to the Table Degree from an accredited program in aerospace engineering, another safety-critical engineering discipline, or a comparable field, complemented by relevant professional experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience: Extensive experience managing EASA design organization projects, coupled with strong skills in people leadership, time management, and budget oversight. You are a proactive change agent, continuously seeking to improve working practices and procedures to enhance the company’s business model. Your proven project management expertise enables you to successfully deliver complex engineering change programs on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of engineering job practices, with hands-on experience in Type Design and Continuing Airworthiness for CS 25 aircraft. You possess comprehensive knowledge of certification processes, design changes, and modifications relevant to the aerospace industry
Collaboration: Skilled at working effectively with colleagues, customers, and diverse stakeholders, you take ownership of challenges and act professionally to protect and enhance the company’s reputation. Building strong, trust-based relationships comes naturally to you.
Leadership: A true people partner with a proven track record of managing engineers at all levels and building highly effective, distributed teams. You thrive in dynamic, matrixed environments and adapt seamlessly to evolving technologies, stakeholder needs, and complex situations.
