At our Peru, Indiana facility a 4-bay hangar handling 8–10 aircraft deliveries per month we’re seeking a Chief Inspector to lead our Quality Control team and uphold the standards that make Dean Baldwin Painting an industry leader.

This role is not just about checklists, it’s about leadership, attention to detail, and partnership with inspectors and customers to ensure every aircraft leaves our hangar airworthy and ready to fly.
What You’ll Do
· Lead and mentor a team of 6–8 Quality Control Inspectors.
· Oversee all inspection activities related to paint operations and limited maintenance.
· Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, the Repair Station Manual (RSM), and Quality Control Manual (QCM).
· Approve aircraft for return to service following paint and authorized maintenance processes.
· Manage QC records, documentation, and stamp control.
· Liaise with FAA representatives during audits and inspections.
· Drive continuous improvement through investigations, corrective actions, and cross-functional teamwork.
· Support the Safety Management System (SMS) and contribute to a culture of safety and accountability.
