Aviation Safety Officer will serve as principal advisor to the Safety Manager and Program Manager on all ground safety matters. Responsible for advising and aiding the Safety Manager in developing and managing a command ground safety program The Aviation Safety Officer will be required to coordinate all ground safety matters among the Command’s Staff and will maintain and report appropriate detailed ground safety records and mishap statistics and recommend and establish required corrective safety actions. Additionally, Aviation Safety Officer is responsible to collect, analyze and communicate actionable information to assist Commanders in preserving/protecting military combat resources.
