Job Description:
Job Summary: The QA Auditor II maintains compliance of the Repair Station Quality Management System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains the Quality Management System.
Performs audits of the facility.
Produces Repair Station Assessment Reports.
Collects data, analyzes data, and makes recommendations based on this analysis.
Performs investigations into incidents and accidents.
Produces Non-Conforming Reports for Repair Station discrepancies.
Maintains Repair Station Metrics to support the Aerospace Standards.
Issues Corrective Action Requests when warranted.
Education and Experience:
Mechanic Certificate Airframe or Airframe and Powerplant preferred.
Undergraduate Degree preferred.
Previous auditor experience.
ISO auditor training preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent Microsoft skills to include Word, PowerPoint & Excel.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be able to type 30 words per minute.
Familiar with Portable Document Formats.
Excellent writing skills to be able to produce reports without oversight.
Physical Requirements:
Duties require normal mental and visual attention along with manual coordination for keyboard operations.
Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
Normal office environment where approximately 75 of work is performed in a sitting position with the remaining time walking and moving around the office areas.
Exposure to noise in hangar and flight line areas.
Occasional outside local and out of town travel is required involving driving and/or flying.
