AH-64 Mechanical Technician

$29.87-$35.22/Hour

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical systems and subcomponents of AH-64 aircraft.

• Perform modifications and installations per technical data and work instructions.

• Utilize hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision equipment during maintenance tasks.

• Follow detailed computer-based work instructions and document maintenance actions and labor accurately.

• Ensure compliance with torque specs, safetying practices, sealant application, and precision measuring equipment (PME) usage standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment with strict attention to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum 1 year of relevant mechanical experience (aerospace or similar industry); or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Proficiency in reading and writing English

• Ability to pass certifications in:

  • Torque application

  • Safetying practices

  • Mixing and applying sealants

  • Precision Measuring Equipment (PME)

• Basic computer literacy for work instruction and time tracking systems

• Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods

• Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior hands-on experience with AH-64 Apache helicopters or similar rotary-wing aircraft

  • Experience working in military or defense aviation environments
