Position Title: Mechanic / Ground Support Equipment Technician
Location: Denver International Airport (DEN)
Compensation: $31–$35/hour (based on experience)
Available Shifts
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Sunday through Thursday
Shift Hours
- First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Third Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Note: Holiday availability is required.
Position Summary
As a Diesel Mechanic / Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician, you will be instrumental in maintaining reliable airport operations. This hands-on role involves servicing diesel engines and specialized airport equipment in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and ground support equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct preventive maintenance and routine safety inspections
- Replace or repair essential components such as engines, transmissions, and brakes
- Accurately record service and maintenance documentation
- Work collaboratively with a skilled, safety-focused team
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience in diesel or GSE repair
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with tools and diagnostic equipment (must provide your own)
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Working Environment
Approximately 30 of work will be performed outdoors, requiring adaptability to Colorados changing weather conditions.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
