Job Summary
The Maintenance Support Technician reports to the Crew Chief for assignment of work task and is responsible for the efficient execution of the work scope tasks assigned. The MST performs entry-level tasks to develop the skills and experience needed to satisfy the FAA requirements for an airman certificate. The MST will utilize the applicable technical data relative to work performed including but not limited to maintenance and inspection, servicing and lubrication, repair and modifications. The MST will be involved in all areas/ disciplines of aircraft maintenance, which includes airframe, avionics, structures, and interiors.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Accomplishes all work while following company and industry safety standards while maintaining the highest level of quality.
- Adheres to all FAA Regulations, the Repair Station Quality Control Manual (RSQCM), and all other approved data.
- Performs the required maintenance needed for Falcon Jet aircraft as identified in the work order.
- Perform basic aircraft maintenance tasks.
- Assist other maintenance technicians with work orders.
- Able to read and interpret aircraft drawing and blue prints.
- Ensures all documents are signed off completely, properly and in a timely manner in accordance with the RSQCM.
- Maintains the utmost level of professionalism at all times.
- Works assigned shift and unscheduled overtime as-needed or requested.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Adheres to company dress standards.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with additional courses in aircraft maintenance in recognized service or technical school programs.
- Previous Aviation Maintenace Experience preferred.
- Required to take the A&P certification exam and pass the Airframe portion within first 24 months of employment.
- Able to read and understand instructions.
- Must have required tools
- Beginner level computer skills required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to wear and utilize personal protective equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Comfortable in tightly enclosed areas, heights involving lifts and ladders, as well as, flying.
- Requires the ability to perform all physical functions of the job (hear, stand, kneel, walk, etc.
Compensation and Benefits:
The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance.
