What Youll Get to DoThe Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Parts Coordinator is responsible for GSE inventory, parts ordering, warehousing, shipping & receiving. They are critical to the GSE operation in terms of ensuring equipment parts are stocked effectively and are available when required. Inventory receiving and shipping of all parts and material as required, including pickup and delivery of supplies for internal basesPrepare and track Ground Service Equipment parts and requests from offsite mechanicsWork with relative vendors to fill work orders with new and/or repaired partsCreate PO’s, receive, label, and put away stock as parts are receivedReview stock levels to ensure continuity of supplies for operational requirementsEnsure effective organization of all GSE parts stock and storageMonitor and maintain inventory levels while ensuring inventory availability and accuracyProactively follow up on back orders, short shipments, and delayed shipmentsSupport the facilitation of the deice programAssist with the purchasing of new equipment where requiredPerform cost analysis and cost reduction activitiesWork with Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice discrepanciesOther duties as assignedSkills & Experience We Value Previous experience & knowledge in warehousing, receiving and inventory control considered an assetPrevious forklift operation considered an assetDemonstrated organizational, multitasking and time management skillsExperience as a buyer or purchaser of Auto / Industrial parts sales or related inventory considered an assetSelf-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with all Microsoft Office programsKnowledge of maintenance tracking software considered an assetPossess a valid driver’s license and own vehicleAbility to lift 75 lbsRegular travel will be required– approximately 25Must be able to obtain and maintain an enhanced security clearancePreference given to Inuit Land Claims BeneficiariesInuktitut language considered an asset
