Job Description
Join our team as an Aircraft Technician, where you will be responsible for performing line maintenance and ensuring the airworthiness of various customers aircraft. Your role will involve routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaborating with maintenance control centers to maintain full-functioning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and issue airworthiness releases, returning aircraft to service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components using approved technical data.
- Ensure all departing aircraft are safe per FARs and carrier/manufacturer manuals, documenting all work performed.
- Collaborate and communicate with the air carrier’s maintenance control center.
Essential Skills
- 1-5+ years experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Experience with Boeing aircraft maintenance, specifically B737, B757, B767, B777, B747.
- A&P License preferred.
- Recent line maintenance experience focusing on troubleshooting, daily and turn checks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to stand, walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl frequently.
- Capacity to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Experience working near moving mechanical parts and exposure to fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
- Visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
- Exposure to various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Must be eligible for Airport SIDA Badge.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Work Environment
The work is conducted at the Lakeland airport, primarily from afternoon to midnight, Monday through Friday. You will work around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to various weather conditions.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lakeland, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $44.00/hr.
