Aircraft Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our dedicated team in San Bernardino, CA. The Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for all assigned tasks in accordance with company policies, procedures, government regulations, and manufacturer specifications as outlined in approved technical publications.
Responsibilities
- Perform line maintenance (on-call and scheduled) work on various customers aircraft.
- Conduct routine maintenance and airworthiness releases, ensuring aircraft are ready for service.
- Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components to meet deadlines and performance goals.
- Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components as per approved technical data.
- Ensure departing aircraft comply with FAR’s and the air carrier/manufacturer manuals, documenting all work accurately.
- Perform assigned line maintenance duties, activities, and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with the air carrier’s maintenance control center.
Essential Skills
- Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
- 2+ years of line maintenance experience.
- Experience with Airbus aircraft.
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl.
- Capability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
- Awareness of working near moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals, and exposure to loud noises.
- Ability to operate equipment and read technical information using visual acuity.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred experience on B767-200/300 aircraft types.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Customer-facing skills with the ability to interact professionally with the flight crew.
- Independence and self-motivation, with the ability to work without direct supervision.

Work Environment
Located at San Bernardino Airport, supporting line maintenance for Amazon Air. The position operates on a 4 X 10s schedule with a graveyard shift from Wednesday to Saturday. Flexibility is essential as the schedule may vary due to flight schedules. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions and around moving mechanical parts, fumes, and loud noises.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
