Job Description: Tooling Expeditor
The Tooling Expeditor will coordinate the flow of work and tooling between departments as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. They will facilitate process improvements, monitor order and assist where required to maximize customer services and on-time completion.
Job Duties:
- Expedites, routes and dispatches tooling in accordance with production schedules and commitments
- Conveys tool from storage to designated area using forklift or other devices
- Generates reports on parts in storage areas
- Advises management of status of tool availability and potential production problems to ensure that tools are available as needed
- Maintains storage, filing location and condition of all tooling equipment
Skills:
- Inventory, production support and/or warehousing experience
- Personal drive for process improvements
- Ability to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and others
- Forklift experience
- Experience tracking and reporting status
- Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, engineering flows
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficient with Excel spreadsheets and MS Outlook
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Education:
- H.S. diploma and and/or related experience

- 15 office environment, 85 foundry floor in a hot, dirty work environment
