Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ship small parts; package, stamp and light travel to local shipping store
- Data entry
- Record Keeping
- Create and process purchase orders for non-stock items
- Maintain organization of stock
- Count and receive items into inventory system
- Open, unpack, sort, stock and pick inventory
- Inspect items for defects
- Compare packing slips and/or invoices to items received
- Interact with and assist other parts room personnel daily
- Interact with technicians daily and assist them in finding or ordering materials
- Provide status reports
- Communicate effectively with vendors and coworkers
- Other duties as assigned by department Manager
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or an Equivalent
- 2 years of Previous Data Entry Experience
- Proficient in the English language
- Occasional overtime to meet deadlines
- Must Successfully complete a comprehensive background check
- Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product
- 2 Years customer service experience (preferred)
- 2 Years of experience in shipping and receiving items (preferred)
Skills and Abilities:
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Basic computer skills with Microsoft office suite
- Active Listening
- Drive and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be a team player
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Manual and finger Dexterity
- Push and Pull rolling carts
- Near Vision
