Job Description:

Tasks

When you join our team, you will:

  • Monitor transports, resolve delays, and identify root causes
  • Serve as logistical single point of contact for requests, tracking, and clarifications
  • Actively coordinate and steer internal and external information flow
  • Research and provide missing tracking and material data
  • Generate daily/weekly transport monitoring and monthly KPI reports
  • Support projects with operational expertise and drive process improvements through testing and feedback
  • Manage and coordinate project-related mailboxes
  • Maintain and update Access database, steer processes, and handle spot quotation tenders
  • Ensure supplier monitoring and transparency as per customer nominations

Requirements

You match our need, if you have:

  • University degree in economics, logistics or procurement or relevant job experience
  • Excellent command of English, German is a strong advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, excellent knowledge in Excel and data tools
  • Good knowledge of the global logistics spanet is an advantage
  • Diligent, independent and systematic in his or hers approach to work; service oriented
  • High degree of problem solving, strategic topic approach and prioritization skills
  • Numerical and linguistic aptitude, excellent analytical skills
  • Courteous, adaptive to a multi-cultural environment, committed to team results
