Morson Talent are hiring a Buyer for our Aerospace and Defence client based in Broughton, Chester.

Rates: 40.00 per hour Umbrella / 29.89 + Holiday Pay 4.35 per hour PAYE

12-Month Contract

Full Time onsite

Standard 35 hours per week (working 4.5 days between the hours of 7am – 7pm, hours agreed at business discretion)

Main Activities:

• Contribute to the sourcing activity for large capital expenditure projects, specifically focused on sourcing of new production means and production equipment for aircraft final assembly lines, and component manufacturing lines.
• Manage the end-to-end tendering process, and the contract negotiation process, to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with company requirements.
• Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and company stakeholders to achieve the complete application of terms and conditions throughout the contract life cycle, ensuring suppliers deliver the expected performance in all dimensions (on-time, on-quality, on-cost&8230;).
• Manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers, and running projects to optimise customer value, while minimising total cost of ownership & risks.
• Contribute to the multifunctional / multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.
