Position Summary
Manage the complete purchasing cycle of products (MRO commodities) and services for the company, ensuring quality, prices and optimal deliveries to achieve the objectives of the operation for the company.
Responsibilities
Purchase Order Management:•Prepare, control and send the purchase orders, managing approval processes and supplier confirmations for quantities, prices and deliveries.•Manage of blanket orders and control
Supplier search and selection:•Support to identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers (local/international) for indirect materials. •Monitor suppliers’ performance for delivery and quality and escalate if any will interrupt operations•Support to maintain the supplier´s profile updated according to the policies and requirements of the company.
Negotiation:•Negotiate prices, delivery times and quality.•Raise any requirement to Buyer Sr if a commercial condition needs to be evaluated
Monitoring:•Monitor orders, shipments and receiving processes with Warehouse to ensure timely and proper receipt of the products •Monitor VMI operations including order management and follow up on inventories•Monitor and clearing on the receiving process any discrepancy on invoicing from suppliers or receiving, assuring the correct month end process with Accounts Payable.
Communication:•To serve as a link between suppliers and internal customers (engineering, production, finance, warehouse) and stakeholders
Analysis and Reporting:•Conduct cost comparisons and proposals•Analyze shortages on MRO supplies and maintain action plans to reduce incidences•Keep inventories aligned with demand, setting inventory control like VMI or kanban processes•Conduct usage reviews and maintain inventory control (maximum/minimum levels) and report results. •Analyze spanet trends and improve purchasing processes along with Buer Senior optimizing cost and performance
Compliance:•Ensure adherence to the policies, procedures and guidelines of the company related to the purchasing process.

Qualifications
Education: Engineering or administrative bachelor’s degree.Experience: 1 year of experience in procurement and warehouse related functions.English level: Intermediate English (> 80)
