Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buyer II to support procurement and supply chain functions for critical production programs. In this role, you will coordinate the purchase of materials, services, and components to meet delivery, cost, and quality goals. You’ll work closely with program leads to identify long lead items, manage supplier relationships, and ensure that all documentation and processes align with contractual and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include issuing purchase orders, tracking supplier performance, managing order backlogs, and resolving discrepancies with deliveries or invoices.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of tactical-level purchasing experience, a strong understanding of procurement systems (preferably Coupa and Costpoint), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required, and industry certifications such as APICS, CPM, or CSCP are a plus. Experience in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing industries is highly valued. This role calls for strong negotiation skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and cross-functionally to support continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Compensation: $46.00/hr.
