Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Software Intern at AIRBUS, you will have the chance to contribute to various stages of the Software Development Lifecycle. Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting senior engineers in the Design, Development and Testing of Mixed Reality applications.

• Writing and maintaining clean, well-documented and efficient code.

• Contributing to front-end and/or back-end development tasks, depending on your skills and project needs.

• Participating in code reviews to learn best practices and provide constructive feedback.

• Troubleshooting and debugging software issues under the guidance of senior team members.

• Developing and executing unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.

• Contributing to the development of technical documentation.

• Learning and applying new technologies and methodologies.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers.

Qualifications:

• Final year or Graduates of Bachelor/Masters of Engineering (B.E / B.Tech, M.E / M.Tech) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.

• Strong foundational knowledge of programming concepts and data structures.

• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming language Java, C, C, C&43;&43;.

• Knowledge of the Git version control system.

• Basic understanding of Unity3D or Unreal Engine.

• Basic understanding of software development methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities. 

• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Bonus Points (Preferred Skills):

While not mandatory, experience or familiarity with any of the following would be a plus:

• Experience with game engines and MR development platforms (Ex: Unity, Unreal engine, ARKit and ARCore, Mixed Reality toolkit, Blender, Maya or 3ds Max etc).

• Familiarity with common MR hardware and their respective software development kits (SDKs) is highly valued. This includes devices like the Microsoft HoloLens, Meta Quest or other headsets.
