Job Description
The intern will support the Planning team in scheduling and managing all aspects of aircraft maintenance, from routine checks to complex modifications. This role is ideal for an engineering or aviation student passionate about the technical and regulatory side of aircraft operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a CAMO Planning Intern, you will assist the team with:
Maintenance Coordination: Supporting Planning Executives in the day-to-day scheduling of routine (line) and heavy (base) maintenance tasks.
Data Entry, Compilation & Reporting: Assisting in updating the aircraft maintenance records and flight hours in our maintenance software system (e.g., AMOS,).
Documentation Control: Helping to file, scan, and archive completed maintenance task cards and other technical records.
Compliance Monitoring: Assisting in the tracking of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and other mandatory modifications to ensure they are completed within their required deadlines.
Work Package Preparation: Supporting the creation of work packages for upcoming maintenance checks, ensuring all necessary tasks, parts, and tooling are identified.
Parts & Materials: Liaising with the stores and procurement teams to help track the status of spare parts required for scheduled maintenance.
Forecasting: Assisting in the development of short-term and long-term maintenance forecasts for the aircraft fleet.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a closely related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A genuine interest in aviation and a strong desire to learn.
Preferred (Not Required, but a plus):
Familiarity with aviation regulatory bodies (e.g., EASA, FAA).
Previous exposure to aircraft maintenance concepts or terminology.
Experience with any aviation maintenance software (e.g., AMOS).
What You Will Learn
A comprehensive understanding of CAMO functions and EASA/FAA regulations (e.g., Part-M, Part-CAMO).
Practical experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling.
Hands-on use of industry-standard aviation maintenance software.
The lifecycle of aircraft technical records and the importance of meticulous documentation.
