Testanlagen-Support-Ingenieur (d/w/m)

Die Abteilung „System Integration Rigs“ ist verantwortlich für Avionik-, Flugsteuerungs- und Hydraulik-Testumgebungen, welche für die Qualifizierung und Zertifizierung der verschiedenen Systeme für Kampf- und Transportflugzeuge dienen. Der Testanlagen Support Engineer spielt eine Schlüsselrolle bei der Bereitstellung dieser Testumgebungen über den Lebenszyklus der Avionik-, Flugsteuerungs- und Hydrauliksysteme der Flugzeuge.

Diese Rolle ist auch mit reduzierter Wochenarbeitszeit und angepasstem Aufgabenumfang verfügbar.

Ihre Aufgaben und Verantwortlichkeiten

• Zuverlässiger Betrieb von Avionik-Testanlagen, Echtzeittestsystemen und Simulationsumgebungen
• Unterstützung der Tester bei der Nutzung der Testumgebung
• Komplexe Fehlersuche und -beseitigung in der Testumgebung und IT-Infrastruktur zur schnellen Wiederherstellung der Testumgebungen und IT-Infrastruktur
• Pflege der spezifischen Testumgebungsdokumentation und -prozesse
• Selbstständige Integration von HW-Änderungen der Testumgebung
• Unterstützung des Betriebes sowie Administrierung der betriebenen IT-Infrastruktur

Gewünschte Fähigkeiten und Qualifikationen

• Sie verfügen über ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik/Informatik mit anschließender mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung oder ein Abschluss als staatlich geprüfter Techniker/-in oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung mit anschließender mehrjähriger Berufserfahrung
• Sie verfügen über Kenntnisse im Bereich IT- und Netzwerktechnik, Skript- und Programmiersprachen
• Ihre Arbeitsweise ist selbstständig, strukturiert, zuverlässig und teamorientiert und lebt den Servicegedanken eines Testanlagen Support Ingenieurs
• Sie sind kommunikativ und verfügen über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, um in unserem internationalen und multikulturellen Umfeld effizient kommunizieren zu können
• Sie beherrschen modernen Tools wie Jira Confluence oder SW-Programmierung

In order to operate and maintain Avionic System Integration Test Benches, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Test Bench Support Engineer (d/f/m)

The department „System Integration Rigs“ is responsible for the Avionics, Flight Control and Hydraulics test environments which are used for the Qualification and Certification of the different systems for fighter and transport aircrafts. Test Bench Support Engineer is a key role in providing these test environments over the lifecycle of the Avionics, Flights Control and Hydraulic systems of the aircrafts.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Operation of Avionic Test Benches, Real-Time Test Systems and Simulation Environments
• Support of testers in using the test environment
• Complex failure investigation and removal in the test environment and IT infrastructure to quickly recover the test bench and IT infrastructure operation
• Maintaining the dedicated test environment documentation and processes
• Independent integration of modifications to the test environment
• Supporting and managing the deployed IT infrastructure

Desired skills and qualifications

• You have successfully completed studies in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering or a Degree as Technician or a comparable training followed by several years of professional experience
• You have a good knowledge in the area of IT or network technology, scripting and programming languages
• Your way of working is independent, structured, reliable and team-oriented living the service idea of a Test Bench Support Engineer
• Proficient oral and written communication skills in German and English
• You are very experienced in using modern tools, like Jira Confluence or SW programming
