Our Boeing Commercial Airplanes Team is currently looking for you in Hamburg, Germany as a
Structural and Payloads Design Engineer (Mid-Level) (m/f/d) Our Payloads organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and a lot that you don’t: The Interior of the airplane, along with the Lavatories, Galleys, Cargo compartments, exterior spanings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We enable our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand.
In this role you will:
Own the full customer introduction lifecycle for 777 Galley and Interior Monuments, including technical definition, feasibility studies, configuration development, design validation and verification to meet customer, regulatory, and Boeing requirements
Establish technical direction and manage integrated schedules, prioritize tasks to drive project success, mitigate risks, collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues in design and interface as well as verification, and support recovery efforts throughout the program
Manage supplier design, testing, and production activities, ensuring integration and delivery align with program schedules and quality standards

What you bring to the table:
5+ years of experience in Aerospace Engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in program or project management, leading project and/or program proposals of varying complexity (including development and execution of schedule milestones, resource assessments, risk and/or issues management)
Additionally preferred skills:
Experience: You have extensive experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, as well as with design criteria, certification (EASA CS-25 and / or FAA Title 14 Part 25) and production or maintenance processes (EASA Part 21G and / or EASA Part-145)
Collaboration: You are experienced in leading complex projects including influencing team members and stakeholders (suppliers, customers, solution providers) involved and are willing to help develop, mentor and coach less experienced staff
Personality: You are a principled, reliable professional who values integrity, safety and accountability, always striving for the highest standards of quality and ethical conduct. Inclusive and collaborative by nature, you communicate transparently, respect diverse perspectives and take ownership to drive results the right way
