Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Mission Assurance Engineer. This position will be located in Clearfield, UT and will support the Sentinel program.

What Youll Get to Do:
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and evaluating engineering documents and contract deliverables (such as plans, drawings, presentations) to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and customer requirements.
Leading and participating in root cause and corrective action analyses (RCCA) and failure investigations for high impact issues.
Analyzing and identifying gaps in project/program requirements and helping to drive proactive solutions.
Collecting, analyzing and reporting key performance indicator data/metrics and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and improve performance.
Supplier oversight and management (related to quality performance).
Review of Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility (EMI/EMC) test plans and test procedures (EMITP) to meet Data Item Descriptions (DID) requirements.
Support EMI/EMC test planning, Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and test integration support. Witness EMI/EMC test execution.
Inspect maintenance and repair activities of Wing Code Processing Systems (WCPS) and Shielded Enclosure (SE) at government facilities.
Perform data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each Hardware (HW) build and component.
Interface with Electrical and Systems engineers in support of maintenance, repair and verification.
Support Shielding Effectiveness testing at remote site locations per IEEE-STD-299 & TEMPEST/1-95.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree and 8 years of related experience, OR Masters Degree and 6 years of related experience.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance
4+ years of mechanical and non-destructive inspection techniques (intermediate knowledge)
2+ years of RF testing/engineering experience
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50 of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) from an accredited university
4+ years’ of experience working and directly interfacing with DoD customers on technical and/or Mission Assurance program elements
Advanced RF testing/certification experience
COMSEC, Cryptology and Nuclear Surety training
Excellent oral and written communication, data analysis and problem solving skills
Primary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
