Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Information Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.

• Experience:

• 6–8 years of experience in full-stack development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Python and PySpark (minimum 6 years).

• Good understanding of JavaScript, SQL, and MySQL.

• Experience with Big Data technologies, data analysis, and data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with Skywise Platform tools (Contour, Code-Workbook, Slate, Code Repo, Ontology definitions).

• Experience working with structured and unstructured data.

• Strong background in data warehousing and data pipelines.

• Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, VPC, IAM, etc.).

• Working knowledge of Cloud Foundry and DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, CI/CD).

• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML5 and JavaScript.

• Experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Understanding of IT security, data governance, and privacy best practices.

• Experience integrating data from various sources and applications.

• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong business analysis skills: communication, documentation, and requirement gathering.

• Agile experience (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Java 7&43;, Spring Boot, Hibernate.

• Familiarity with tools like Maven, Artifactory, Splunk, OpenSearch, Ansible.

• Understanding of airline and MRO operations.

• Knowledge of French is a plus.

• Work closely with product and data teams to understand requirements.

• Analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

• Design and build scalable data systems and pipelines.

• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions.

• Apply data modeling techniques to improve performance and usability.

• Design end-to-end system architecture for data workflows.

• Perform complex data analysis to help guide business decisions.

• Translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Develop and deploy workflows, apps, and dashboards on the Skywise platform.

• Collaborate with airline customers and internal teams to gather pain points and functional needs.

• Recommend ways to improve data quality, governance, and reliability.

• Maintain a structured repository of solutions for reuse.

• Promote best practices in data engineering using Skywise tools and ontologies.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain secure, reliable web applications.

• Automate tests (unit, functional, performance, security).

• Use CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across environments.

• Mentor and support other developers in the team.

• Follow compliance and internal policies to protect company data and reputation.

• Deliver high-quality work on time and first time right.

• Build cost-effective and innovative solutions.

• Ensure customer satisfaction through technical excellence.

• Own tasks from planning to development and support.

• Understand the business value of each solution.

• Help scale the team and support larger projects.

• Provide solutions that challenge and improve current practices.

• Act as a business advocate and partner for digital transformation.

• Work closely with Airbus Customer Services Digital teams.

• Contribute to aircraft systems integration and roadmap planning.

• Be proactive in giving input and shaping future solutions.
