About the Role
As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer, you’ll be responsible for leading large portions of project scope, including planning, cost tracking, and resource management. You’ll work closely with systems engineering, program management, and customers to ensure deliverables are met while maintaining control over project scope. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work with onsite collaboration at our Torrance, CA location.
What You’ll Do
Lead engineering programs and manage project scope, cost, schedule, and resource allocation
Coordinate with technical leads, program managers, and customers to meet project milestones
Support requirements verification and validation for military environmental control systems
Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities and architecture development
Oversee integration of control systems, test equipment, and field issue resolution
Mentor team members and support capability development across engineering disciplines
Present complex technical information clearly to internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or Mathematics
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership
Experience leading engineering programs and managing Control Account Management (CAM)
Strong understanding of system requirements and V&V processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification and experience with earned value management
Background in aerospace systems development
Familiarity with aircraft environmental control systems or vapor cycle systems
Active security clearance (preferred but not required)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision

Pay Rate: $65–$75/hr,
Shift: Day Shift 8AM-4:30PM Hybrid (Onsite/WFH – must be onsite a few days per week)

Pay Details: $65.00 to $75.00 per hour
