Job Description BAE Systems is growing in Endicott, NY thanks to our exciting new Aircraft Electrification program. The Aircraft Electrification program merges technology from our military and commercial flight control electronics as well as power and propulsion controls products. We need test engineers to develop and support production acceptance test for our complex control and power electronics.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100 of the time.
The successful candidate will:
Demonstrate technical ownership of production test on multiple complex programs.
Support test technicians with difficult troubleshoot of complex problems.
Provide training, guidance and mentoring to test technicians.
Support Test Engineering Manager in planning necessary production test resources to support contract commitments including coordinating new purchases and repair and maintenance of existing equipment.
Ensure commitment to our "Total customer satisfaction" quality policy.
Occasional support after standard hours as needed.
