As a HSE Engineer 1 here at Honeywell, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the organization. You will report directly to our HSE Manager and you’ll work out of our South Bend, Indiana location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing HSE strategies that align with the organizations mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and contribute to the development of preventive measures.
- Support the development and maintenance of emergency response plans for HSE-related incidents, including accidents and environmental emergencies.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
- 1+ years of experience in HSE engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
- Experience with HSE management systems and compliance tools.
