Position Summary
Support manufacturing through CAD drawings, process improvements, 3D printing, tool testing, and mechanical troubleshooting. Requires strong design, communication, and time management skills.
Essential Functions:
Work with plant engineering to draw cellular manufacturing layouts
Knowledge, understanding, and ability to manage 3D printers
Use CAD to create process prints for manufacturing
Create tooling drawings for various manufacturing processes
Work with manufacturing and lean engineers on plant process improvement activities
Complete tool testing
Troubleshoot and fix complex mechanical systems
Good understanding of design process
Good understanding of creating assemblies and drawings complete with BOM
Good project management and communication skills
Able to work effectively independently and in a team setting
Complete other duties as assigned
