Job Title: Engineer - BOS Design Functional Electrics

Job Summary:
As an Engineer - BOS Design Functional Electrics, you will be responsible for the design and integration of electrical systems within the Airbus aircraft environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the functional integrity and installation of these systems, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical system installations for various aircraft components, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and requirements.
* Utilize specialized CAD tools such as CATIA VPM and VPM A350 for 3D modeling, drawing creation, and digital mock-up integration of electrical systems.
* Perform detailed system installation and integration tasks, focusing on mechanical system installation aspects as they relate to electrical routing and component placement.
* Apply knowledge of DPDS, Gilda, CIRCE, and Taksy tools for data management, process adherence, and task execution within the design lifecycle.
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including other engineering disciplines, manufacturing, and suppliers, to ensure seamless integration and problem resolution.
* Manage and prioritize tasks, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with and influence stakeholders.
* Conduct stakeholder management activities, gathering requirements, providing technical updates, and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure all designs meet performance, reliability, and safety standards while optimizing for manufacturability and maintainability.
* Participate in design reviews, identify potential issues, and propose innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and efficiency.

Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor&39;s or Master&39;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in electrical system design and installation within an aerospace or highly regulated industry.
* Proficiency in CATIA VPM and VPM A350 for 3D electrical harness routing and component placement.
* Familiarity with aerospace design principles and documentation standards.
* Experience with tools such as CIRCE, DPDS, Gilda, and Taksy is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of mechanical system installation principles and their interaction with electrical systems.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
* Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
* Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Experience:  Preferably 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
