DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer

Job Description
Performs work on the AWS hosted case management system/application, including Production and Engineering Test environments, and CI/CD pipeline. Skills include Java, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, AWS services, networking, backup/recovery, Kubernetes, Helm, and Harness. Participates in CI/CD delivery and adheres to standards and conventions outlined as part of quality and security measures. Key responsibilities include:

Build and maintain infrastructure as code on large scale multi-site deployments.
Utilize experience to evaluate and assess new ways to scale platform capabilities.
Automate workflows to help push the limit of the infrastructure and enable continuous delivery of capabilities onto a hybrid infrastructure.
Troubleshoot issues until root causes are understood on high traffic production systems, participate in design and code review processes, interact with product owners to coordinate infrastructure changes.
Identify bottlenecks and improve performance of our platform.

Job Requirements:

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

U.S. Citizenship, with ability to obtainand maintain Federal Public Trust
Bachelors Degree (preferred in Software Engineering, Information Technology or related area)
Five plus (5+) years, building and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across hybrid-cloud infrastructure
Eight-plus (8+) years of experience working in Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
Five-plus (5+) years in configuration / package management experience using tools like Terraform, Helm etc.
Five-plus (5+) years of experience with Cloud service monitoring like Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD, ElasticStack, Prometheus, SumoLogic, etc.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

AWS Cloud certification
Cyber Security Training/Certification

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $112420 - $191070

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
