Job Description:
Lead Avionics System Certification activities: establish the type certification basis and type design definition for Avionics systems; develop compliance demonstration of Avionics Systems; release airworthiness documentation to the Certification Department and Airworthiness Authorities; perform airworthiness approvals in accordance with Airbus Design Organization Approval (DOA) privileges; manage certification projects with Certification Department and Airworthiness Authorities; manage the internal Airbus Airworthiness network to ensure certification objectives are met.
Lead the Major/minor changes Certification activity for allocated Avionics System modifications. Ensure certification of the Avionics Systems and demonstration of compliance with import requirements; support operator in the demonstration of compliance with operational regulations of Aviation Authorities of the Avionics System; support to customers as interface with Airworthiness Authorities during Avionics System Certification.
Lead Airworthiness Assurance activities: Ensures that organization approval requirements (Design Organization Approval (DOA) are fulfilled Monitor and validate Airworthiness deliverables.
