As a Customer Account Intern, you will support the Customer Service department, specifically in the areas of Billing and Account Management. You will receive, verify, and process induction information for components/modules/engines using company systems as well as ensure customer requirements and expectations are understood, documented, and communicated to the appropriate team members for the within our Business Unit.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare quotes, proposals, estimates, and invoices; analyze estimate-to-invoice variance (EIVA) and identify potential cost overruns.

• Act as a liaison between customers and internal engineering, operations, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely communication and issue resolution.

• Explain pricing, estimate changes, and invoice variances to customers, including cost-benefit justifications and repair development costs.

• Monitor and analyze cost projections, recommending and supporting corrective actions as needed.

• Coordinate and host customer visits while representing the organization in a professional manner.

• Support proposal and presentation preparation for customer and business needs.

• Manage workload and priorities in a dynamic environment with changing business demands.

• Develop and apply project management principles including scope definition, resource planning, budgeting, risk analysis, and timeline management.

• Utilize continuous improvement methodologies to enhance processes, mitigate risk, and drive stakeholder alignment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program pursuing a degree in Communications, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, demonstrated through 2+ academic projects, internships, or work assignments.

• Experience collaborating in team-based environments, contributing to multiple group projects or work initiatives.

• Experience preparing reports, presentations, or basic data analysis, delivering multiple outputs using business tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, or similar).

• Planning, organizational, and time management skills in fast-paced environments.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including customer interaction and relationship management.

• Experience with negotiation, conflict resolution, or customer service.

• Knowledge of Power BI, Microsoft Access, or other data visualization tools.

• Understanding of production management, inventory, or sales/marketing systems.

• Familiarity with project management and continuous improvement methodologies.
