Senior Operations Transformation Analyst

As part of the Operations Transformation team, the Senior Operations Transformation Analyst is responsible for creating data driven and evidenced improvements in our operating model. Using internal operational, commercial, finance and people data as well as drawing on industry knowledge, insight and best practice the role will define clear recommendations for step changes in the operating model. The objective is to maximise profitability and support easyJet’s strategic objectives by understanding how our contracts and crew model needs to consciously evolve in line with the evolution of our business and network. The position collaborates closely with a range of departments across the airline including operations, commercial, the people team and finance. The role reports to the Head of Operations Transformation and requires strong analytical skills and working operational / commercial knowledge.

What you’ll be doing 

In this role, you will analyse data across operational, finance, commercial and people functions to identify and evidence insights that remove friction points, drive improvements and efficiency gains. You will use these insights to validate how improvements can be delivered sustainably, ensuring that any opportunities identified remain future proof as the commercial schedule evolves. Going beyond the data itself, you will apply operational and commercial knowledge to understand how proposed changes would play out in a live environment. You will form clear, rational hypotheses using varied sources of information, even when data is conflicting, and benchmark company performance against industry standards to highlight opportunities for enhancement. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure recommendations are practical, achievable, and aligned with the wider business strategy. Keeping abreast of industry trends and technological developments to continually identify opportunities for PBT positive innovation within the operating model will also be an important part of the role. You will be expected to work independently, managing multiple concurrent projects with accountability, while delivering accurate and meaningful findings. The role will involve cross-functional development with IT, Data Science, Commercial, Operations and Finance, as well as active involvement in medium-scale projects across the business.
 

Job Requirements:

What you’ll need to do the role

To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organise, and interpret complex data to produce accurate and detailed insights. You will have experience in using data to drive commercial decisions and a background of working within cross-functional teams and projects. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to clearly explain your analyses in a credible and confident way. You should be comfortable balancing business needs with analytical delivery, while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role requires independence, self-organisation, and the ability to plan work effectively in line with team priorities, while also being a collaborative team player. A high tolerance for ambiguity and change is important as the business continues to evolve.
Experience with generative AI, along with relevant commercial experience will be highly desirable, as will expertise in using data to draw informed insights. To complement these skills, you should bring excellent stakeholder management abilities, strong interpersonal skills, and a decisive, analytical mindset with close attention to detail. Time management, prioritisation and adaptability are critical, ensuring you can deliver high-quality outcomes while navigating a complex and evolving operating environment. Location & Hours of Work:

This is a full time role, working 40 hours per week, based in London Luton. We support hybrid working and spend three days per week in the office.
