Position Summary
The Senior Analyst Heavy MX Programs is responsible for supporting the Project Manager (PM) Production in all activities related to the planning, development, execution and monitoring of new and existing programs within the Tech Ops Heavy Maintenance (MX) organization. The Senior Analyst works along with JetBlue Engineering, Compliance, Engines, Fleet, Heavy Maintenance, Quality, and Planning ensuring all major objectives, milestones, and deliverables are met and communicated throughout the org. The Senior Analyst reports to the Manager of Heavy MX Programs and Materials.
Essential Responsibilities
- Support JetBlue fleet modification initiatives through all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Ability to track program progress to a high-level timeline, work on open action items to advance projects both independently and with directive.
- Establish a project material supply chain, spend forecast, and submit purchase orders. Monitor supply chain to ensure orders on-track toward production/usage milestones and escalate should deviations arise.
- Forecast, monitor, and manage all program/project materials at our heavy maintenance facilities needed to support upcoming aircraft modifications. Identify, resolve, or escalate any material issues as they arise.
- Lead program/project purchases efforts including request for quote’s (RFQ’s), analyzing bids, and submitting recommendations to PM/Manager for purchasing approval.
- Assist in creating and implementing action plans to respond to program/project risk.
- Interface with internal Tech Ops teams including Engineering, Planning, Compliance, Materials, Quality, and others to advance project objectives.
- Liaise and visit with Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) business partners as needed to support project efforts including project milestone meetings, prototypes, MRO preparedness meetings, ongoing support, and other potential work packages.
