JOB TITLE:  People Business Partner

DEPARTMENT:  Corporate Headquarters or remote if approved

REPORTS TO: People Business Partner Manager

FLSA STATUS:   Exempt

The People Business Partner is an emerging HR professional who delivers strategic support to key leaders and business units across the Company. The role will collaborate with key leaders and the People Business Partner Manager to create and implement comprehensive people and organizational solutions that foster an organization capable of achieving significant and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with assigned business leaders to develop and execute HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, drive growth, and address industry trends and challenges.

  • Lead and participate in investigations into employee relations and performance issues, ensuring fair and timely resolution. Provide expert guidance to both employees and management to cultivate a positive work environment.

  • Offer performance management guidance, leadership coaching, and conflict resolution support to managers throughout the employment lifecycle.

  • Drive the implementation and execution of HR programs and transformational initiatives designed to enhance organizational performance and culture. This includes talent reviews, training needs assessments, executive coaching, performance management, retention strategies, and succession planning.

  • Support change management efforts to facilitate smooth transitions during organizational transformations for all stakeholders. Contribute to internal communication initiatives to promote transparency and engagement among team members.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in a Human Resources Generalist role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, preferably with experience as a Business Partner.

  • Experience working in aviation is highly desirable.

  • Ability to handle and maintain confidentiality in all areas.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and build relationships at all levels.

  • Excellent analytic, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to work and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.

  • Able to handle a diverse workload.

  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll, and compensation software, experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred).

Miscellaneous Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check as required by airline regulations and company policies.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. per the Immigration Act of 1968.
  • Fluency in English
