Delta is seeking undergraduates with a graduation date of Spring/Summer 2026 for our Commercial Strategy Analyst (CSA) Program. The CSA Program is a full-time rotational position within Delta, designed to accelerate the development of high-potential contributors by deepening their understanding of Delta’s business, expanding their skills through challenging rotations, and providing opportunities to develop leadership capabilities.
Employment opportunities for the Commercial Strategy Analyst Program include:
Network Planning
Develop route structures, analyze new city and route opportunities and determine capacity response to competitive actions. Maximize profitability by aligning capacity with demand through the strategic deployment of aircraft.
Pricing
Investigate competitors’ pricing actions, initiate sales and other promotions to maintain spanet share. Create short-term and long-term strategies to maximize revenue based on analyses of passenger demand.
Inventory Management
Analyze and understand the complexities of airline consumer behavior and devise creative strategies for capturing additional revenue through varying the supply of our product.
Customer Engagement, Loyalty and Marketing
Develop promotion and channel strategies to drive incremental passenger revenue, build customer loyalty and increase our brand. Design improvements to Delta’s customer communications, loyalty program, and develop better customer segmentation.
E-Commerce/Distribution
Maintain competitiveness of delta.com and self-service functionality, develop online spaneting strategies and identify revenue streams through non-air partnerships for delta.com. Manage global distribution systems and third-party online agency relationships by leveraging new technologies to lower distribution costs.
Sales Analysis
Analyze the financial contribution of incentive programs with corporations/distributors and develop new sales strategies to generate incremental sales.
Reservations Sales Analysis
Analyze performance efforts to determine strategies that improve customer service, employee engagement, maximize cost efficiencies and ultimately drive increased customer revenue and loyalty
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Must graduate from undergraduate program in Spring/Summer 2026.
    • Candidates who have graduated and are employed full-time will not be considered.
  • You have demonstrated the ability to interpret data, use it to form concrete business actions, and present findings.
  • You are a creative problem solver with a familiarity of economic concepts.
  • You can work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • You thrive in team settings. You collaborate well, learn from others, and use your skills to help them.
  • You are a proactive, clear communicator.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
